Dive guide

Dive Guide Certification 600​€
The SSI Dive Guide certification provides the knowledge and training necessary to create certified divers capable of leading recreational dives.
-
Minimum age 15 years.

Have logged at least 40 open water dives.

Hold the following SSI certifications or equivalent from other recognized training agencies:

Diver Stress & Rescue
-
Deep Diving, 30 meters depth

Navigation
-
Night & Limited Visibility
The candidate does not need to be certified in the applicable specialty but must provide proof of experience dives.
The instructor evaluates the mastery of the skills required by the specialty.
Completion Requirements
Have logged at least 50 open water dives, totaling 32 hours or more.
Pass all requirements and assessments.
Complete the final program exam.

After completing all academic and practical requirements, the SSI professional can issue the Dive Guide digital certification card.
Dive Guides may not:
Conduct or teach/assist in any SSI training programs for non-certified divers.

Dive Guide Update to Divemaster 600€
Qualified SSI Dive Guides can advance to SSI Divemaster.

Minimum age 18 years.

Have at least 60 open water dives totaling 40 hours or more.

Meet all requirements

Maintain active status with SSI
-
Complete the Specialty Science of Diving.
